Westmoreland Family Bible for Edward and Besty who married in 1858 and lived at Hilaldstow.  It is a lovely old bible,(1867) but well worn.  The case is tooled and brown.  The spine has the leathercloth cover partly missing.  The Bible is mainly together, but starting to come apart.  There are some pages of Revelation missing.  A well as the inscriptions there are some sentimental papers in the book.

It is 10.5x7.5 inches and 2.5 inches think.

Only a few entries, in a good hand, but Edward clearly loved his wife and this is a gem of a family bible.
