This was Mary Booth's 1714 copy of 'The Imitation of Christ', printed in London, which was given by her to Alice Birch in 1724.

It is not a family bible, but in the first cover sheet (of a re-bnding in the Victorian era I think) is a manuscript listing of how the book was passed down the generations, mainly in the female line.  It went through families with the names of Lauder and Hannay.

It is in fairly good condition.  There is a piece of the new cover spine partly loose.  It measures about 8.5 inches high by 5 inches wide and 1.25 inches thick. It weighs 430 grams.

Please note that the price does not include packing and post, though the website says that is normally included.
