THIS BIBLE IS NOW SOLD.  As well as Caroline's entry, there is a reference to the marriage of Henry Gurr in 1807, and other Gurr and Boyes entries on four pages.  The bible is about 9 inches by 6 and about 2.5 inches thick.  The brown leather cover is embossed with the publisher's name of the Society for the Propogation of Christian Knowledge.  The bible is complete, though the cover of the spine is damaged. This is a genuine early family piece, starting before Victoria was born.
