This is a nice bible of the period; published 1874. It is a black embossed cover and was printed in Cambridge for the British and Foreign Bible Society. The front cover is detached, but the rest is fine, and the pages are gilded. On the front fly-leaf there is the inscription saying this was given to Emily on her 13th birthday, on 14 May 1875, by her mother. I have not yet been able to track down which person this might be.
