This is a small hand-sized bible, with the birth details of eight members of the Holmes family from 1877 to 1893. i have not been able to lock down the family yet, but I think they lived in Derbyshire, around Chapel-en-le Frith. One daughter bears the wonderful name Ethel Annie jubilee Holmes. Born in 1887 of course, Victoria's jubilee year.
